CNN seeks producer in China

Journalists with experience in television news production who are fluent in Mandarin can apply for this position in Beijing.
CNN is seeking a producer to work with correspondents and TV crew to cover breaking news in China.
The successful candidate will produce feature and enterprise stories, and perform other responsibilities in Beijing or Shanghai as needed.
Responsibilities include monitoring news in China, informing the Hong Kong news desk, Atlanta International desk, correspondents and producers of important developments; producing stories and live shots for the correspondents covering breaking news and doing news and feature stories in the region; writing copy for CNN wires and CNN.com; and setting up DNG equipment for live interviews with local guests for CNN Hong Kong, London and Atlanta.
Applicants must have at least five years' relevant experience in an international news environment, knowledge of TV production procedures and must have thorough knowledge of China and its history.
Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory (both written and spoken). Ability to speak another Asian language is a plus.
