Workshop for Arab documentary filmmakers open [MENA]

Midcareer filmmakers can apply to attend free training in Cairo, Tunisia and Leipzig.
Documentary Campus and the Goethe-Institut Cairo are inviting submissions for the Documentary Campus MENA Programme 2013. The successful applicants will develop their documentary projects for the regional and international nonfiction market.
Documentary filmmakers who are nationals and residents of Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Algeria, Jordan, the Palestinian territories, Syria and Lebanon can apply for this opportunity.
The workshop will include sessions about developing your story, storytelling, budgeting, legal aspects of international co-productions, trailers, project presentation and pitching.
The organizers will offer grants that cover tuition fees, travel expenses, accommodation and allowances for 15 selected participants (team members will have to cover their own expenses). English proficiency is a must.
