NBC seeks executive producer in New York

Experienced broadcast journalists can apply for a position in New York.
NBCUniversal is seeking a an executive producer for its for MSNBC Dayside show with host Chris Jansing.
The executive producer supervises and oversees the editorial vision of the show. The successful candidate will oversee the editorial planning process, copy edit all scripts, coach and mentor show staff, and act as a control room supervisor.
Applicants must have at least eight years of experience in live television and at least three years of experience managing a team. Candidates should also have demonstrated prowess as a news-hunter, spotting and conceiving of clever, differentiated and relatable story angles off the news. A strong understanding of social media and emerging digital tools for reporting and storytelling is a must
