Journalists and students studying journalism or communication who are in their last year of study can apply for this course.
The Embassy of the United States in Argentina is offering a free English training program to journalists.
The program aims to help journalists strengthen their level of English during interviews, acquire more fluidity in their interaction with Anglophone interlocutors, and develop better levels of understanding and reading.
The course, which lasts 10 weeks and is offered twice a year, will be available to take in-person for those in Buenos Aires or online for those who may be in different areas of Argentina.
Journalists who wish to apply for the course must already have a basic knowledge of English.
To be selected for the course, participants must take a test to gauge their level of English. The written exam will be given online, while the oral interview will take place over the phone.
The exam will be available April - June or until the course reaches its capacity.
