The Fourth Amazon Short Film Festival will be held June 3 - 8 in Porto Velho, state of Rondonia. It is organized by a commission created by the General Curator of the Festival.
The event will feature competitive and non-competitive exhibits, as well as debates, seminars, panels, conferences, publication releases, concerts and professional training activities.
The winners of the competitive exhibits will receive the "Blue Macaw" trophy, which pays homage to an endangered bird of the Amazon forest.
Competitive films must have been produced after January 1, 2008, in long, medium or short formats in the genres of animation, experimental, documentary or fiction. There is also a videoclip category. It is not mandatory to include Portuguese subtitles if the movie is in another language.
The application deadline is April 20
