The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas and the UNESCO Chair in Communication invite journalists to attend the 14th International Symposium on Online Journalism, which will be held at the University of Texas at Austin April 19 - 20.
The program will focus on strategies media companies should adopt to face the advanced stage of the digital revolution, the impact of social media on journalism, the use of responsive design by news sites, the challenges and opportunities created by the widespread use of mobile devices and the importance of data visualization in online journalism.
Registration costs US$80, but students and faculty members pay a discounted rate of US$30. This includes access to all ISOJ sessions, the print program of the event, and breakfast, lunch and snacks on both days.
