Blog and website contest open Journalist

Online journalists and bloggers worldwide are eligible for an award.
The German media company Deutsche Welle is accepting entries for its BOBs contest - Best of Online Activism. The aim of the contest is to promote freedom of expression and human rights activism on the Internet and around the world.
Submissions to the contest can be in the any of the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Websites must be accessible to the public.

The remaining six categories are multilingual, which means nominees in different languages are evaluated against each other. Those categories are: best blog, best innovation, best social activism, most original, the Reporters Without Borders Award and the Global Media Forum Award.
All winners will be announced on the BOBs website on May 7. Winners will receive their prizes at a ceremony in Bonn on June 18 as part of the Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum.
