Recent journalism graduates can apply for a fellowship in Washington.
The Scripps Howard Foundation Wire is accepting applications for a one-year multimedia fellowship for post-graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree.
Fellows will create multimedia projects for the foundation’s website, work with undergraduate interns to develop multimedia projects and provide leadership to a team to produce news stories and projects.
Qualified applicants must have expertise in html and content management systems. They will also have high-level skills in shooting photos and video and editing video.
Along with a stipend of US$22,155, fellows receive free housing in a furnished apartment shared with the program’s undergraduate interns.
Submit an application form, resume, one-page critique of the foundation's website, up to two recommendation letters, up to two references and multimedia work samples.
The application deadline is April 1.
