Business reporting contest in Africa

Journalists and editors who cover the business environment in Africa can apply for an award.
The Diageo Africa Business Reporting Awards (DABRA), presented by Diageo, is accepting entries.
The aim of the awards is to promote a more balanced view of financial issues and business opportunities across Africa and, in a broader context, encourage a more balanced view of Africa in the media.
Entries are open to reporters and editors working on all media platforms. All entries are judged by an independent panel. The awards ceremony will be held July 11 in central London.
Submissions for DABRA 2013 are being accepted in the following categories: best information and communication technology (ICT) feature, best finance feature, best Infrastructure feature, best agribusiness/environment feature, best tourism feature, and best business news story, best business feature, best newcomer media of the year and journalist of the year.
