The successful candidate will write headlines and stories accurately, quickly and with high standards of credibility; identify market-moving figures and comments to prepare news stories from sources including electronic news releases, conference calls, webcasts and press conferences; build and maintain contacts and sources to develop deep subject expertise; and coordinate coverage with equities reporters in North America, Asia and Europe.
Applicants should have at least eight years of business journalism experience, along with an ability to write clearly and quickly with a sound command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation. Candidates should also be comfortable handling financial data and facts accurately and quickly.
