Journalists from the Asia region can apply to attend a course in Hong Kong.
TrustMedia, a Thomson Reuters Foundation Service, offers a five-day course in multimedia journalism April 15 - 19.
Sessions include blogging, multimedia storytelling, social media tools, ethics in online journalism, and audience development.
Guided by professional training editors, participants will be given deadlines by which to write stories of specified length. Everyone's work is then reviewed by experienced journalists and comments are discussed by the whole group.
Applicants must be from Asia and have a minimum of five years' professional experience, preferably with management experience. Applicants have to be fluent in spoken and written English.
The application deadline is March 3.
