Voice of America is accepting entries for its VOA Photo Contest, which recognizes photography that provides a glimpse into people's everyday lives.
Participants should submit photos that help capture the spirit or the essence of the people and places in their lives.
Photos may depict an everyday scene or a landmark. It could be something that shows life's struggles, or it may express the joy found in the simplest things. VOA’s judges will look for beauty, composition, quality and the content of the photo's subject matter. Photos will be scrutinized for originality. Copyrighted work is ineligible.
The winner will announced on or around April 11, and will receive an Apple iPad with retina display.
The deadline is March 1.
